March 21, 2015
Meeting was called to order By President John Fox with four members present.
Secretary’s Report: Ed read the Secretary’s report Motion by Ken and 2nd by Gene to accept. Motion Carried
Treasurer’s Report; Ed gave the report. Beginning balance $3662.11 with a ending balance of $5998.02 Ed Transferred $ 4000.00 from the calendar fund to the general fund. Motion by Gene and 2nd by Ken to accept. Motion carried. Ed reported that he was going to collect to donation boxes today.
Correspondences:Ed had received a e-mail from Bill Sowers that he has show interest in becoming the new Region Seven Director for the PSSA. After talking to John on this matter Ed has sent a e-mail to PSSA President Liz Kurg in support of Bill Sowers.
Old business: Nominations were open from the floor once again the John Fox was nominated for President. He accepted. The ballot is John Fox – President, Gene Ianson – Vice President, Ed Lawver - Sec/ Treasurer, John Greeley – Board of Director. Ed made the motion that the ballot be closed and the officer’s stated above be elected to office for the coming year. Ken 2nd the motion. Motion carried.
Committee reports
Trails: John Fox gave a lengthily report of what was done for trail work in 2014 and what was done to the groomers over the winter. He also reported what needs to be done in 2015. Ed stated he needs to know what John and Gene groomed soon so he can file for money from DCNR
Membership:Ed gave a membership report. We have 191 members of which 90 are family members, 98 single members and three social members.
Board of Director’s Report:No report from the Board at this time.
New Business:Ed talked about the insurance again. It was felt by those present that it is worth checking into further. Ed will proceed with it. Ed asked about worked details for 2015. They will be the last two Saturdays in the months of June, July, August, and September. Ed will post this on the web site. It was decided not to do a work detail in May this year. Ed asked about a donation in the honor of Chris Pankake. Motion made by Ed and 2nd by Ken to donate $200.00 in the honor of him. Motion passed. Ed will take care of it.
Nothing for the good and welfare of the club at this time.

Meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm by President John Fox. 13 Members and no guest were present.
Secretary’s Report: Report was read by Ed. Motion to accept by Dahl Eppinger ad John Greeley. Motion Passed.
Treasurer’s Report; Ed gave the treasurer’s report. Beginning Balance $6559.90 and a ending Balance of $6961.73. Calendar balance $ 20,000.00 Motion made by Dahl and 2nd by John Greely to accept. Motion Passed.
Correspondences: None were read
Old business:J ohn Greeley stated that Feb 21 will not work for the Kids ride. It now interferes with the Vintage race at the Potter County club. He will put things together as fast as he can if we have snow on another date. He will let Ed know so he can get it on the website and Ed can send out a email to all members.
Committee reports
Trails: President Fox gave a report on the connector trail in Costello. Seems the land owner had a change of heart and is not letting us open it again. Dahl reported that the trail up by the old El Rancho needs trimmed out.
Dice Run; Run is Jan 24, 2015. Ed has all paper work ready to go. Helpers are lined up just need the snow on the ground.
New Year’s Party: It is here wish we could have had a better turn out.
Bush Dam Ride And Picnic: Feb 14, 2015 is the date. John Fox gave a report on doing the picnic again at the Bush Dam Vista. Feels that things are good the way we are doing things now. It was decided if we do not have snow for the ride, to go ahead and cancel both the ride and picnic. Motion Passed.
No Board Of Director’s Report.

December 20, 2014
Meeting was called to order at 9:20 AM by president John Fox. Six Members were present.
Secretary’s Report: Ed read the secretary’s report with no additions or corrections. Minutes were approved as read.
Treasurer’s Report: Ed gave the treasurer’s report. Beginning balance of $7356.10 and a ending balance of $6559.90. Motion by Gene Inason and 2nd by John G. to accept report. Motion carried.
Correspondences: The next meeting for club officer’s and DCNR is Feb 3, 2015.
Old business: Ed brought up about buying Travis DR mower since it was not noted in the minutes form Oct. A discussion was held on the mower and it was felt we would not use the mower enough. Dahl made a motion not to buy the mower and 2nd by Gene. Motion passed. Ed will call Travis to pick up the mower. Discussion on purchasing a trailer. Tank would sell us his for $1500.00. Trailer is what we want plus has a winch on it. Ed made a motion, 2nd by Dahl to purchase the trailer. Motion passed. John Greeley is going to check on a back blade that might be given to us to use.
Committee reports
Trails: John got green snowmobile signs to be put up on Wildboy Rd. The twp feels it is the snowmobiles club responsibility to put the signs up and gave us permission to go ahead and put them up. John found a spot down by Five Daughter’s camp that has washed out and needs some work done to it asap. John Greeley to look at and fix this area.
Dice Run;: Dice run Is Jan 24, 2015 with a no snow date Jan 31. Ed has the paper work all ready. Will be calling around for help.
New Year’s Party: Jan 17, 2015 Pulled Pork A gratin potatoes. John ordering food and Ed will pick up the soda. Hope to see everyone there.
Bush Dam Ride And Picnic: Feb 14, 2015 If there is no snow event will be cancelled.
No Board Of Director’s Report.
New Business: John reported that the land owner gave us permission to open the old connector trail in Costello once again. Must ride with caution and slow in this area. No snow no go signs will be posted there. John Greeley brought up about doing a ride for the kids in memory of John Venelti and Jack Cooney. Ed also brought up about doing it in the memory of Cindy Also. John Greeley to spear head the event. Tentative date will be Feb 21, 2015.

Meeting was called to ordered at 6:10 pm after the dinner by President John Fox with 15 member and 3 quest present.
Secretary’s ReportEd read the report with no additions or corrections. Motion by John Greeley and Gene Inason to accept, motion carried.
Treasurer’s ReportEd read a short version of the report. Beginning balance of $7833.56 and a ending balance of $7356.10. No Calendar report was given.

Old BusinessInsurance has been Paid. PSSA dues have been paid. Nothing to report on opening Lyman Rum Rd. John wants to get with Dave to go over letter for Chip Harrison.
Committee reports
Trails: Few odds and ends to finish up yet. Anyone that can help let him know. John Fox reported we should look in maybe buying a trailer and a back blade for a tractor instead of using other peoples.
Dice Run; Ed gave a report on the run It will be January 24, 2015. No snow date of the 31st of Jan. The Lakeview Inn has been dropped from the run since it change hand and have no liquor lic. Ed will call for help to man the stations, right after X-mas.
Membership: Ed gave a report on membership and is pleased with the response back to his address along with the P. O. He will give a final total in February 2015.
New Year’s Party:John is taking care of ordering the food. It is January 17, 2015 after the meeting at 6pm.
New Business:Linda Bell suggested we do a Ham and Bean dinner for the hunter’s dinner. It was agreed it is too late to do a Hunter’s Dinner. John reported we should look into maybe buying a trailer and a Back blade for a tractor.

Meeting was called to order By President John Fox at 7:30 pm. Nine members where present.
Secretary’ Report:Report was submitted by Secretary Ed Lawver and read by John Fox. Report was approved as read.
Treasurer’s Report: Beginning Balance $9146.97 and a Ending Balance of $7833.67. Janet has reported there is $11,508.14 in the Calendar Fund. Ed has also stated to John, the insurance is to be paid yet

Old Business;Insurance to be paid. Motion by Gene Ianson and 2nd by Travis Runkle to pay. Discussion on The Pssa show. Discussion on Lyman Run Rd from Thompson Rd to the park. John went to the meeting and presented the club views & will settle later. Discussion on Appreciation Dinner is November 15, 2014 at 4:30 pm at the Costello Inn. Meeting after dinner.
Committee Reports:
Trails: 4ft extension pipes are installed, Bridge behind the Sportsman club has been widened, a 2nd bridge and a pipe has been installed behind the sportsman club also. Trail has been widen in the area of the Five Daughter’s camp. All on the East Fork Railroad Grade trail. Discussion on the Dr Trimmer, needs to be used. Roulette Club ? signing at Keathing Summitt.

New Business:New trail from Ed Sholes to Costello was discussed. Ok to Pass thru the Glovers old farm. Travis Runkle to take care of all phases and complete. Motion to purchase tickets for the snowmobile and trailer raffle for the Pssa and to renew our PSSA dues by Jim Elwell and 2nd by Gene Ianson.

Meeting was called to order by President John Fox at 9 am. Four members were present.
Secretary’s Report:The report was read by Ed. Motion by Glen and Gene to accept. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Ed gave the Treasurer’s Report. Beginning Balance $5644.00 and a ending balance of $9146.97. Motion by Gene and 2nd by Ed to accept. Motion carried
Correspondences:Ed read a letter from Friends of Lyman Run on a meeting on September 22, 2014. President Fox will attend. The first DCNR meeting or the year will be October 7, 2014 with our club officers. Ed read a thank you card from Potter County Habit for Humanity for our donation.
Old Business:Ed reported that the new hubs, wheels, and tires are here and in the shed at John Ward’s. They are foam filled and ready to go. The PSSA show is Oct 24-26, 2014. Ed stated that he is not pleased with the new Kelly Events Management. He fills they are not any better the they people that were doing the show in Lebanon. He stressed this whole heartily to Glenn Pssa Vice President. Glen told Ed he should call and voice his opinion to Roger Auger.
Committee Reports:
Raffles – Calendars are printed and are out, sell them. Ed asked if we are raffling anything off at the show. John stated that Jeff Krone was going to make another lift. Ed will follow up on this and let John know status on this. Ed will make tickets and poster for this raffle if he is going to make it.
Trails – Drag is cleaned and painted. Bridges are done behind the East Fork Club. Five Daughters is widened. Pipe is in to guide drag around corner at the bridge on Jim W. property. Pipe should be painted orange. Pipes and drainage ditches on Schoolhouse Trail are cleaned out. Ed stated today and next weekend he will extend the pipes on East Fork trail and clean out
Membership – Ed has everything printed stuffed and ready to mail October 1.
Dice Run – Ed gave a short report. We will not have Lakeview this year due to it being sold. He has paper work from last year to use. Ed is going to state calling help in December. Dice Run is Jan 24, 2015. No Snow date Jan 31, 2015.
News Year Party – John will check on the Food at Big Mike’s. Ed will take care of the bill when he is here for the party.

New Business:The liability insurance is due. Ed stated same prices as last year. Ed and Gene made a motion to renew it. Motion carried. John brought up about buying a pole saw with attachments. This would be a Sthil saw. Price approx $1000.00. Ed and Gene made a motion to ahead and purchase it. Motion carried.
Good And Welfare: Appreciation Dinner will be November 15, 2015 at the Costello Inn.

April 22, 2017
The regular monthly meeting of the Southern Potter Snowmobile Club was called to order by President John Fox @ 0900 hrs. Those in attendance were : Dave Pavelosky, Bill Swords, Leo Miller, Pete May, John Fox, and Matt Bollinger.
Secretaries Report: Matt provided the minutes from the March meeting. Dave Pavelosky made a motion to accept the minutes, 2nd by Bill Swords, all in favor , motion passed.
Treasurers Report: Matt provided a financial statement to those in attendance. Total expenditures for March was ,382.30 with an ending balance of 2304.59 , with no revenue. Motion was made to accept the report by Dave Pavelosky, 2nd by Pete May, all in favor , motion passed. John Fox noted the balance of the calendar account.
Correspondences: The club received a letter and donation request from the Friends of Lyman Run Organization. Matt read the letter to the members present. The club agreed to continue the support of FOLR with a donation of 50.00 dollars. A motion was made by Pete May , 2nd by Dave Pavelosky to send a donation check.
Old Business: John Fox stated that for the appreciation dinner the menu choices will be , steak and shrimp or stuffed chicken. He was still working on getting commitments from members on attendance. The cost per person is 13.95. Bill Swords started a club facebook page and encouraged members to like the page and spread the word. The club will be sending 4 members to the annual PSSA business meeting held in Penn State on May 13.
Committee Reports
Trails- Dave Pavelosky reported that he spoke with Nate Confer about the gas well bridge at route 607, he stated that it needs a drainage pipe that should be supplied by DCNR. The trail from Wharton to Conrad near the gas company needs drainage pipes , the cross fork crew from DCNR should be doing this work. Trail work by the club is scheduled for the 17th and 24th of June

Board of Directors: There will be 1 meeting during the summer months this year in July on the 22nd before the work detail. John asked if memos can be sent to the club officers a week or 2 before meetings for reminders of meetings and that the BOD will work on posting events on community boards at the local businesses.
New Business: Club has received an invitation to attend the 2017 Powersports show sponsored by the PSSA. Matt Bollinger made a motion to attend 2nd by Pete May. All in favor , motion passed. Matt will take care of signing the club up.
Good and Welfare: Ed still has no improvement in his condition, he is looking better and is in an extended care facility. Matt stated that the club taxes( the epostcard) was submitted to the IRS.

The regular monthly meeting of the Southern Potter Snowmobile Club was called to order by President John Fox @ 0916 hrs. Those in attendance were : Dave Pavelosky ,Dahl Eppinger,Janet Pankake, Bill Swords,George Bollinger, Jon Malehorn, John Fox, and Matt Bollinger.
Secretaries Report: Matt provided the minutes from the February meeting. Dave Pavelosky made a motion to accept the minutes, 2nd by Dahl Eppinger, all in favor , motion passed.
Treasurers Report: Matt provided a financial statement to those in attendance. Total expenditures for February was $654.24 with an ending balance of $1797.76, with $695.00 revenue. Motion was made to accept the report by Dahl Eppinger, 2nd by Dave Pavelosky, all in favor , motion passed. Janet Pankake noted the balance of the calendar account.
Correspondences: Raffle tickets were received from PSSA. All together the tickets will cost $60.00 . The club buys these every year. Motion by Janet Pankake, 2nd by Dave Pavelosky to purchase tickets, all in favor motion passed.
Old Business: Meeting at Stewardson Twp. Regarding the plowing of roads was attended. Officials looking into this matter.
Election Of Officers For 2017; All current officers will stay the same as 2016
Appreciation Dinner; May 20th ; 3 options on where to have our banquet were provided by President John Fox. The membership agreed to use Kaytees restaurant for the dinner . Start time will be 5pm.
Committee Reports
Trails- Dave Pavelosky reported that numerous trees were removed from the trails due to the recent storms. Some pipe work will need done on the trail below the club. There was discussion with no action taken on sleds riding private property near Darien Run.
Membership- Number of members close to last year so far.
Safety Course- None scheduled , John is the only member certified to do this. No interest in neighboring clubs on a joint effort
Board of Directors: There will be 1 meeting during the summer months this year in July on the 22nd before the work detail.
New Business: Discussion on starting a 50/50 raffle during the next membership drive that would be included with the membership packet that gets mailed and doing this in place of the Dice Run. It seems as though the Dice Run has not been well attended for the past few years. The tickets will be 2 dollars each or 3 for 5 dollars. Drawing for the winners will be Jan. 20, 2018 at the New Years Party.
Good and Welfare: Bill Swords will look into starting a club Facebook Page. Ed still has no improvement in his condition.

Treasurers Report: Matt provided a financial statement to those in attendance. Total expenditures for January was $428.62, with an ending balance of $2044.22, with no revenue. Motion was made to accept the report by Dahl Eppinger, 2nd by Dave Pavelosky, all in favor , motion passed. Janet Pankake noted the balance of the calendar account.

Old Business: LED lights were installed on the DCNR groomer.

Trails- trail by 607n state shed had a tree down, 11 mile tree down, groomed 11 mile prior to D.R., 3 trees down on RR bed and heavy trail damage due to tree trimming by electric company, jones run gate was not unlocked.
Membership- 14 business, 137 regular
Dice Run- had 26 riders, 7 new members, winners were sent checks
Safety Course- None scheduled, John is the only member certified to do this. No interest in neighboring clubs on a joint effort
Bush Dam ride and Picnic- May not have snow to hold event.
New Years Party: 19 members attended . Extra food that was left over will be used as Janet see’s a use.

New Business: Discussion on who was attending a meeting at DCNR regarding the plowing of joint use roads.

The regular monthly meeting of the Southern Potter Snowmobile Club was called to order by President John Fox @ 1715 hrs. Those in attendance were: Dave Pavelosky, Kathy Parsons, Karen Bollinger, Dahl Eppinger, Janet Pankake, Yavonne Fox, and Matt Bollinger.
Secretaries Report: Matt provided the minutes from the December meeting. Dahl Eppinger made a motion to accept the minutes, 2nd by Dave Pavelosky, all in favor, motion passed.
Treasurers Report: Matt provided a financial statement to those in attendance. Total expenditures for December was $204.48, with an ending balance of $2472.84, with $1365.00 revenue. Motion was made to accept the report by Janet Pankake, 2nd by Dahl Eppinger, all in favor, motion passed. Janet Pankake noted the balance of the calendar account had had a minor expense of buying stamps.
Correspondences: A letter from the DCNR was received informing the club of their quarterly meeting on 2/7/17 at 7pm.
Old Business: Lyman Run from Thompson to the lake has been approved to open for joint use. The rubber mats for the club trailer is completed. There needs to be some minor lighting repairs on the DCNR groomer.
Committee Reports
Trails: Dave Pavelosky gave the following report. Cut a tree on schoolhouse, tree down on Long Hollow, Bailey Run at Dean Longs tree cut up, on 12/21 the groomer was taken up 11 mile, and a thermostat was replaced on the club groomer due to overheating. He also drafted a letter to DCNR regarding the plowing of joint use roads.
Membership: 14 business, 114 general.
Dice Run: Will be held on the snow make up date
Safety Course: No report/ none scheduled
Bush Dam ride and Picnic: Will meet at the Wharton Store at 11 am and the picnic will be held at the club after 3 pm.

The regular monthly meeting of the Southern Potter Snowmobile Club was called to order by President John Fox @ 0910 hrs. Those in attendance were: Dave Pavelosky, Gene Ianson, Bill Swords, Janet Pankake, John Fox, Ken Walther, John Ward Sr., and Matt Bollinger.
Secretaries Report: Matt provided the minutes from the October meeting. Dave Pavelosky made a motion to accept the minutes, 2nd by Gene Ianson, all in favor, motion passed.
Treasurers Report: Matt provided a financial statement to those in attendance. Total expenditures for November was $1835.70, with an ending balance of $1312.27, with $608.00 revenue. Motion was made to accept the report by Gene Ianson, 2nd by John Ward, all in favor, motion passed. Janet Pankake noted she had a deposit ready for the calendar account.
Correspondences: Club received a letter from the Sinnemahoning State Park informing the club and members that a section of trail is closed due to dredging at the lake. Trail is closed from Brooks Run Rd. to Mill Run/Goss Rd. Area. Looks like there may be no gas available at the store near the park as well.
Old Business: John Fox reported on the status of Lyman Run to the Lake that is closed to Snowmobiles. Progress is being made on it getting opened up and may take up to 90 days. The rubber mats for the club trailer should be done in a week or two.
Committee Reports
Trails: Dave Pavelosky gave an update on the 607 bridge, its opened up, a stop sign was replaced and a tree needed cut up. The trail to Keating Summit will be gone through after hunting season. Trails need some sign work .
Membership: Mailed out on 12/12
Dice Run: Matt Bollinger was asked to see if he could find the rules for the ride. John Fox was still looking for sponsors and stops.
Safety Course: No report/ none scheduled
Bush Dam ride and Picnic: Will meet at the Wharton Store at 11 am and the picnic will be held at the club after 3 pm.
New Years Party: 1/21/2017 @ 6 pm with a club meeting right before at 5 pm. Meal will be Ham made by Vicki

New Business: Bill Swords asked if he could be sent the minutes, calendar winners, and club events so he could post to the web site. Dave Pavelosky asked when the next meeting with DCNR was so the club could express the importance of townships leaving snow for the riders on joint use roads.
Good and Welfare: Ed Lawver is eating solid food now, with no other improvement. John Ward donated 5 gallons of gas for the scandig; club thanked him.

Treasurers Report: Matt provided a financial statement to those in attendance. Total expenditures for October was $784.26, with an ending balance of $2339.97, with no revenue. Motion was made to accept the report by Gene Ianson, 2nd by Dave Pavelosky, all in favor, motion passed. J. Pankake noted she had a deposit ready for the calendar account.

Committee Reports
Raffle: Sheetz card raffle winners were; Cindy Baker, Bart Greeley, Peggy Hartman, David Shank. The club profited $245 dollars on the raffle.
Trails: Dave Pavelosky reported that he was getting in contact with K Clark to check on the Rt. 607 bridge to Keating Summit. On the 25th he back bladed SH, GL to Conrad, and on the 26th 5 Daughters to Camp Survivor. Some maintenance work done to the groomers. John Fox stated he would like to have 2 groomer operators in each machine at a time when on the trail if possible. There was a lengthy discussion regarding a vehicle crossing the Whitney Bridge.
Membership- Finishing up on the Mailing will go out soon.
Dice Run- We may need to find another stop for the ride and J. Fox is working on the sponsors
Safety Course- No report/ none scheduled
Bush Dam ride and Picnic will meet at the Wharton Store at 11am and the picnic will be held at the club after 3 pm.
New Years Party: 1/21/2017 @ 6 pm with a club meeting right before at 5 pm. Meal will be Ham made by Vicki
Board of Directors: The maintenance fee was paid for another year on the club website . M. Bollinger will work on getting with B. Swords on updating info.
New Business: There was some discussion about Thompson Rd. to Lyman Park being opened this year for sleds. John Fox will keep the club in the loop on this. 4 calendars were lost at the show. The trailer has been inspected and the rubber mat needs to be put down. State grooming is being reduced this year because of the new system for distributing money through the ATV/ Snowmobile registration system.
Good and Welfare: Ed Lawver is showing some improvement with movement. John Fox brought up about having an appreciation dinner in March of 2017. This would take the place of the fall 2016 appreciation dinner. More to follow .

The regular monthly meeting of the Southern Potter Snowmobile Club was called to order by President John Fox At 0911 hrs. Those in attendance were: Jeff Krom, Dave Pavelosky, Dave Guise, Clair Daugherty, John Greely, Janet Pankake, Dahl Eppinger, John Fox, and Matt Bollinger.
Secretaries Report: Matt provided the minutes from the 2 special meetings held in July and August. John Greely made a motion to accept the minutes, 2nd by Janet Pankake, all in favor, motion passed.
Treasurers Report: Matt provided a financial statement to those in attendance. Total expenditures for the summer months were $565.72, with an ending balance of $3,539.18, with no revenue. Motion was made to accept the report by John Greely, 2nd by Janet Pankake, all in favor , motion passed. Janet stated the calendar account had expenses of $710.20.
Correspondences: Friends of Lyman Run thanked the club for the donation and attached a membership card.
Old Business: John reported that arrangements have been made for the club to attend the PSSA Powersports show at the end of October. If anyone wants to attend or help out they can contact him. An update on Ed’s condition was discussed. He is still at Colonial Manner Rehab.

Raffle: The 2017 Calendars are being distributed and tickets for the Sheetz card raffle are available now.
Dice Run - Being worked on , date to be held is 1/28/2017 with a no snow date of 2/4/17
Safety Course - No report
Bush Dam ride and Picnic is to be held on 2/18/2017 and the 3rd annual kids ride and picnic will be held at the Austin Dam with a date to be announced.
Trails: Jamison and Gravel Lick are side boarded and now 8 feet wide. Jamison to Jordan have been back bladed. Long Hollow will get side boards and widened to 8 feet. Gas well needs checked out yet. Joe Lehman is mowing trail at Berge Run as well as replace some boards on the Berge Run Bridge. Minor tree cutting needed on the rail bed. High grass needs to be mowed behind the sportsman club on the trail.
New Years Party: 1/21/2017 @ 6 pm with a club meeting right before at 5 pm.
Board of Directors: The club is still in search of 1 BOD.
New Business: Motion by Dave Pavelosky 2nd by John Greely to move the Oct. 15th meeting of the club to Oct. 22 due to the oyster feed, all in favor, motion passed. Motion made by Janet Pankake 2nd by John Greely to add John Fox to the Calendar account, all were in favor , motion passed. A motion was made by John Greely and 2nd by Dahl Eppinger to donate 200 dollars to Ed Lawver’s wife Joan to help with expenses, all were in favor, motion passed.

The regular monthly meeting of the Southern Potter Snowmobile Club was called to order by President J. Fox @ 0910 hrs. Those in attendance were: John Fox, Matt Bollinger, Dave Pavelosky, Kathy Parsons, Dahl Eppinger, John Greeley, Monique Bates, and George Bollinger.
Secretaries and Treasurer report: Matt read minutes and financial reports. A motion by D. Eppinger, 2nd by G. Bollinger to accept the secretaries report, all in favor, motion passed. A motion was made to accept the treasures report by J. Greeley, 2nd by D. Eppinger, all in favor, motion passed.
Correspondences: The club received notification that it was time to sign up for the PSSA Spring Meet. A motion was made by M. Bollinger, 2nd by J. Greeley to send John, Kathy, and Dave to the meeting in state college. All were in favor, motion passed.
Old Business: The club received membership renewal information for Friends of Lyman Run. A motion was made by J. Greeley, 2nd by D. Pavelosky to continue support through membership to the organization. All in Favor, Motion Passed. The videoing of our trails by a member of the PSSA will have to be done next year as it looks like it is done snowing for the season.
Election of officers: A motion was made by D. Pavelosky, 2nd by D. Eppinger to install club officers as presented in nominations last month. All were in favor, motion passed. The officers for the year 2018 are as follows: John Fox - President, John Greeley - Vice President, Sec/Treas. Matt Bollinger, Asst Sec. Treas. - Bill Swords, Board of Directors: Dave Pavelosky 2019, Dahl Eppinger 2020 , Travis Runkle 2018.
Committee Reports:
Raffles: No report or raffles going on.
Trails: No new items to report , the rock rake will be purchased on March 28
Membership: Matt stated the memberships are up to 144 regular and 11 businesses
Appreciation Banquet: Scheduled for May 19" at Kaytees at 5pm. And dinner will be a choice of steak and shrimp or stuffed chicken breast. There will be about 30 people attending. The dinner is held to any club member and spouse who assisted with club activities in 2017.
Board of Directors: D. Pavelosky asked to include business memberships in the 2019 membership mailing instead of him going business to business.
New Business: J. Greeley will be heading up a club snowmobile trip for the winter riding season in 2019. He will bring back destinations , cost and other ideas in future meetings.
Good and Welfare: Next Meeting is April 21, @ 9 am.

Those in attendance were : John Fox, Matt Bollinger, Janet Pankake, Dave Pavelosky, Bill Swords, Jean Harstad, Clair Daugherty, Carol Daugherty, April Brown, Matt Bowman, Linda Bell, Roger Murphy, Shad Murphy , John Greeley and Kathy Parsons.
Secretaries and Treasurer report: Matt read minutes and financial reports. A motion by J. Greeley 2nd by D. Pavelosky to accept the secretaries report, all in favor, motion passed. A motion was made to accept the treasures report by J. Greeley 2nd by D. Pavelosky, all in favor , motion passed. Matt also provided a financial year in review for 2017. J. Pankake also gave an update on the calendar account balance and expenses.
Correspondences: A letter from the Austin Ambulance was received regarding membership to the Ambulance club. It was decided that is wan not necessary to join as our club members are fully covered under insurance while performing club duties.
Old Business: J. Fox has been in contact with friends of Lyman Run and is waiting on a phone call back.
Committee Reports:
Raffles- Matt reported that the membership raffle totaled 504 dollars and the winner was Vincent Bury. Vincent took 125 dollars and donated the rest back to the club. The snow raffle was drawn at this time and the winner was Brian Fox. The snow raffle totaled 370 dollars and 185 dollars was pain to John to give to Brian.
Trails- reported by Dave , he is making lists for the summer work weekends. Work will include bridges, pipes and some items that were left over from last summer.
Membership: Matt stated the memberships are up to 140 regular and 11 businesses
Bush Dam Ride: was today but there was no snow.
Appreciation Banquet: Scheduled for May 19th at Kaytees at 5pm.

New Business: Nomination of officers were as follows; John Fox president, John Greeley Vice President, Sec/treas Matt Bollinger, Asst to sec/treas, Bill Swords, 1 Board of Director position Dahl Eppinger, Open Board of Director position due to John Greeley being Vice President the club nominated Travis Runkle. Nominations were then closed. D. Pavelosky presented a letter from Christian Seibert asking for support from the club for a trip to Washington DC . Mr. Seibert was picked from the top of his class at school for academics and was asked to attend the National Youth Leadership Conference. The club is very proud to support him and L. Bell made a motion to donate 200 dollars 2nd by J. Greeley all in favor , motion passed. D. Pavelosky presented quotes for a rock rake for the amount of 800 dollars. This purchase is part of the clubs obligation of completing the PSSA grant received in 2017. J. Fox advised that there was interest from Lori Elliott from PSSA on doing a video on some of the club trails. More to follow on this .

Secretaries and Treasurer report: Matt read minutes and financial reports. Everyone in attendance was in favor to approve the minutes and financial report. J. Pankake also gave an update on the calendar account balance and expenses.
Correspondences: The next meeting at the DCNR will be held at the district office on Feb. 2 at 6 pm.

Raffles- Matt reported that the membership raffle was at 465 dollars.
Trails- reported by Dave , all trails are in good shape, there is some minor water damage due to rain, 11 mile is also in good shape.
Membership- Matt stated the memberships are up to 128
Bush Dam Ride is Feb. 17 with a picnic ia 3 pm after . If no snow picnic will still go on.
Board of Directors: No report
New Business: A motion was made by D. Pavelosky 2nd by D. Eppinger to donate 300 dollars to the EFSC for the use of building and grounds . This was brought up last month but held over for approval until this meeting. The club Thanks the officers and members of the EFSC for their continued support of our club with the use of the building.
Good and Welfare: John reported that member Travis Runkle was in the hospital due to a fall and needed some thoughts and prayers. J. Greely advised John that he would like to head up a kids ride this year yet if we get the snow. This may be last minute and if anything happens John will let everyone know.

Old Business: Reminder that a new 50/50 drawing will be started after the New Years Party . Drawing for this one will be held after the Bush dam ride Feb. 17. John is checking on different tickets to sell instead of the red strip tickets.

The regular monthly meeting of the Southern Potter Snowmobile Club was called to order by President J. Fox @ 0900 hrs. Those in attendance were : John Fox, Matt Bollinger, Janet Pankake, Clair Daugherty, Dahl Eppinger, John Greeley and Dave Pavelosky.
Secretaries and Treasurer report: Matt read minutes and financial reports. Motion by J. Greeley ,2nd by J. Pankake to approve the minutes and financial report , all in favor, motion carried. J. Pankake also gave an update on the calendar account balance and expenses.
Correspondences: The club received a 90 percent match grant from the PSSA totaling 1631.70. Club Members also agreed to renew the Friends of Lyman Run Membership for the year 2018.
Old Business: PSSA show report, we sold 29 calendars, there was an average turnout for the show and the following people helped with the club stand from Friday till Sunday: John, Matt, Jeff, Karen, Clair, Dave, Kathy and Leo. The club thanks everyone for the help.
Committee Reports:
Trails- Schoolhouse has been trimmed. Other trails are being trimmed out and have been back bladed and are ready for the snow season. The club trailer needs inspected; J. Fox will take care of this.
Membership- Matt stated that the memberships were mailed out on Friday 11/17.
